Cruise Questions and Answers
Do I need to make a reservation?
We strongly recommend reservations. Space on the boats is limited and often times sell-out in advance. During the busy season, reservations guarantee your tickets are reserved up to 30 minutes prior to departure. During the slower season, advanced reservations help us determine if we have a sufficient number of passengers to operate the cruise. We are also able to contact you through your booking if we are unable to operate the cruise.

Absolutely! Private Charters constitute a large part of our business and each year we host dozens of events from Wedding to Staff Parties and everything in between. We offer a 100 passenger and 55 passenger double-decked boats and two 12 passenger (24 passengers combined) Tiki boats for even smaller occasions.
I suffer from motion-sickness - should I attend a cruise?
Generally speaking, the St. Lawrence River is a calm body of water and the Islands offer even more shelter from the elements. That being said, it really depends on the severity of your condition and the prevailing weather conditions on the day of the cruise. Feel free to ask our ticket office staff if weather conditions on the day of your cruise suggest you do not attend.
I'm pregnant - Can I attend a cruise?
Generally speaking, the St. Lawrence River is a calm body of water and the Islands offer even more shelter from the elements. That being said, it really depends on if your pregnancy causes you to suffer from vertigo, motion sickness or nausea. Prevailing weather conditions on the day of the cruise can cause motion of the boat which may exacerbate these conditions. Feel free to ask our ticket office staff if weather conditions on the day of your cruise suggest you do not attend.
Are the cruises appropriate for small children or babies?
Generally speaking, yes! However, we recommend our shorter 1.5 hr ‘Jewels of the St. Lawrence’ Cruise for children. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children while on board and must keep their children with them at all times during the cruise. Parents must also be mindful of their child’s conduct during the cruise so as to minimize disturbing the enjoyment of other passengers. Ultimately, you have to decide if the cruise is appropriate for your child.
