How to find Brockville

onveniently located on Highway 401, Brockville is situated to provide direct easterly access to Montreal, Quebec City and Maritime Canada, as well as westerly access to Toronto, Windsor and Detroit. Just west of the city limits, Highway 401 connects with Interstate 81 south (New York State) which travels into the heartland of the United States. The Nation's Capital, Ottawa, is accessed by Highway 416, 27 km (17 miles) east of Brockville off Highway 401. Northern Ontario is linked to Brockville via Highway 29 and Highway 17.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Travelling from Interstate 81 (USA)

1. After crossing the Ivy Lea bridge into Canada, go east on Highway 401.
2. Follow the instructions for travelling on highway 401 below.

 

Travelling on Highway 401

1. Take exit 696 (Brockville - Stewart Blvd. or Highway 29)
2. Turn South, toward downtown Brockville on Stewart Blvd.
3. Continue on Stewart across Pearl St, around Court House avenue and past the fountain.
4. Cross over King St. (Downtown) and head toward the river one block.
5. Turn left on Water St., go 1 blocks
6. Turn right into Armagh S. Price Park, also known as Blockhouse Island and make your way around the loop.
7. 1000 Islands and Seaway Cruises is located in the main building.

 

Travelling on Highway 2

1. Turn South (towards the river) on Broad St., in the heart of downtown Brockville.
2. Turn left on Water St., go 1 blocks
3. Turn right into Armagh S. Price Park, also known as Blockhouse Island and make your way around the loop.
4. 1000 Islands and Seaway Cruises is located in the main building.
