Cruise & Shakespeare Package

1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises and the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival are pleased to present Cruise & Shakespeare Packages. Experience a 1 or 1.5 hour Sightseeing Cruise from Brockville, then make your own way on a scenic 20 minute drive along the St. Lawrence to Prescott for a matinee or evening  theatre performance at the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Fesival's unique outdoor venue on the banks of the river. Subject to availability on select dates only July 10 thru August 14, 2010 TROUBLE ON DIBBLE STREET A brand new comedy, this play was commissioned by the Festival to help Prescott celebrate its 200th birthday in 2010. Adapted from Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, John Lazarus has set the play in Prescott in 1910, bringing all of Shakespeare's colourful characters to the local area. Come and enjoy the lovable rogue, Falstaff, trying to win over the hearts of several married ladies... and see them get their revenge! MACBETH   Over four hundred years since it was first performed, Shakespeare's tale of power, ambition and blood continues to weave its magical spell over audiences. Is life controlled by fate or by the choices we make…?

                           

All Shakespeare peformances to take place at the Kinsmen Amphitheatre - Sandra S. Lawn Harbour, Downtown Prescott. In the event of inclement weather, performances will be relocated to a large tent at the east end of the harbour complex or, the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at the corner of Dibble and Centre Streets.

Only pay for Cruise portion of Package for children (4-12 years of age).
